Keep fit, feel better and make new friends at Blooming Babies Aquanatal – dedicated aqua-fitness classes designed especially for pregnant women and new mums returning to exercise following the birth of your baby.
Pregnancy Aqua is safe, fun and relaxing, it will help to prepare your body for childbirth, whilst boosting your wellbeing and alleviating stress.
Postnatal Aqua combines strengthening and stretching exercises and relaxation techniques, providing a full body workout. Both classes are suitable for non-swimmers.
Aquanatal utilises exercise in water to take the pressure off your limbs, providing welcome relief from the weight of pregnancy! Postnatally the water cushions your joints so you can exercise safely and comfortably.
It’s also a great opportunity to get advice, support and information from a registered midwife, whilst sharing your experiences with other mums.

Blooming Babies Aquanatal classes are held in the pool at Nuffield Health in Harrogate and Guiseley and Nuffield Leeds (The Light).
We welcome all mums to be, from 12 weeks of pregnancy and new mums from 6 weeks postnatally (C Section 10 weeks):

Antenatal Aquanatal - From 12 weeks £40 for 5 classes. Individual classes can be booked from 37 weeks pregnant (Discounted rate for Nuffield members). Classes must be booked in advance.
Postnatal Aquanatal - £28 for 4 classes. Classes must be booked in advance.
Individual classes for both Antenatal and Postnatal classes available for £8 per class on a PAYG basis.

All Blooming Babies Aquanatal classes are run by Annie, a registered midwife, qualified nurse and fully trained level 2 Aquanatal instructor.
Aquanatal is the perfect pregnancy and postnatal exercise class. Whilst the water cushions your joints so you can exercise safely and comfortably, you will:
